Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. Every new client starts with a free 15-minute call so we can talk about what's going on and see whether we're a good fit — no pressure, no obligation. Use the Book a call button anywhere on this site to set one up.

Where are you located, and do you offer online sessions?

The practice is farm-based at 11231 Lookout Rd in Longmont, Colorado, between Boulder and Erie. I also offer telehealth sessions for clients anywhere in Colorado.

What ages do you work with?

I work with children, teens, and adults — and very often with the whole family. Much of my work centers on gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) kids and teens, adoptees, and autistic clients of all ages.

What happens in an equine assisted therapy session?

Sessions take place at the farm alongside the horses — no riding experience is needed. Horses are extraordinarily attuned to the people around them, and working with them helps clients notice their own emotions and body signals in a way that talking alone often can't reach.

Do you take insurance?

Depending on your health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, services may be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services — the Rates & Insurance page lists the questions worth asking.

How much do sessions cost?

Individual psychotherapy is $259 per 50-minute session, family and couples sessions are $281, EMDR with horses is $259, and groups are $122 per 75-minute session. Full details are on the Rates & Insurance page.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions not canceled within 24 hours are charged at the full rate. This fee cannot be charged to insurance companies and is billed directly to the client (or the client's parent).
